Digital & Technology committee
MISSION : Unlocking and Promoting the Digital and Technology space in Cote d’Ivoire

Digital and Intelligent Technology (IT) Committee operates under the American Chamber of Commerce to analyze and monitor policies and structural changes affecting the development of the digital space in Cote d’Ivoire. The Committee will share information with members and policy-makers with hopes of influencing a rapidly changing and at times challenging environment.
COVID-19 has become a digital accelerator. Digital transformation has dramatically increased and become a requirement for businesses in the soon-to-be post COVID-19 world. While the private sector already sees the importance of digital capabilities as a core driver of competitiveness, technology has become a central concept for private sector and governments. The Digital and IT committee hopes to become an economic driver and influencer with U.S. initiatives and a greater U.S. presence.
Financial, Investment professional service consulting Committee (FIPC)
MISSION: Promote Investment, Financing, Professional Services, and Consulting in Cote d’Ivoire

The FIPC committee’s goal is to provide insight and advocacy support that enables members to better engage with the Finance & Investment as well as Professional Services and Consulting Industries in CIV and USA.
The Committee will facilitate the exchange of market and trade information, trends, challenges, and barriers. This will benefit members in their respective companies, and to come together as a voice for the industry in Cote d’Ivoire. Sector experts along with members and guests of interest, will be invited for sharing of knowledge, experiences, and the organization of engagements.
Trade, SME, Entrepneurship Committee
MISSION : Take action to improve Trade, SME and Entrepreneurship environment in Cote d’Ivoire

The Trade, SME, and Entrepreneurship committee is committed to synergizing the existing initiatives in the trade and entrepreneurship ecosystem through knowledge sharing and concentrating on focused areas in Cote d’Ivoire.
The Committee will form a focused and aggressive agenda assisting startups, engaging entrepreneurs, mentorship, and any policy advocacy, which can create impact within our eco-system at large.
Industrial Manufacturing Engineering And Energy Committee
MISSION : Unlocking and promoting Industrial Manufacturing and Energy in Cote d’Ivoire
CHAIRMAN : Eric AMOUSSOUGA (General Electric)
CO-CHAIRMAN : Coulibaly NITON (Ernst & Young)
The Industry and Manufacturing committee provides market information and advocacy support to enables members to better engage issues as a collective platform. We will engage both U.S. and Cote d’Ivoire governments with information, build collective actions for members, and focus on improving opportunities for AMCHAM members in both the Manufacturing and Industrial spaces.
The Committee goal will be to work towards achieving sustainable and prolonged growth of Industry for U.S. companies in the growing Ivoirian economy.
Global Economic Policy Issues Committee
MISSION : Establish a political dialogue for assisting U.S.-CIV trade initiatives such as AGOA and the AfCFTA.

The goal of US-CIV Policy Committee is to strategically assist and improve economic relations between Cote d’Ivoire and the United States. EPIC role would allow AMCHAM members to anticipate the future in the short, medium, and long term and to adapt to it in terms of business strategies.
Areas of focus:
1. AGOA and MCC issues
2. Impact of the new African economic policy of the BIDEN administration
3. Contribution of the American Chamber of Commerce in the implementation of the AfCFTA (Africa Continental Free Trade Agreement)
4. Any other U.S. policy issues or Côte d’Ivoire issues affecting the private sector and more specifically AMCHAM members.
Agriculture Committee
MISSION : Promoting and modernizing agriculture and agribusiness in Cote d’Ivoire

The Agriculture & Food Committee provides a platform for AMCHAM Cote d’Ivoire to engage with the relevant stakeholders to discuss policy and regulatory issues in the area of Food and Agriculture industry.
The aim of this Committee is to support AmCham members’ business interest and promote a sound policy and regulatory environment through dialogue and collaboration with the government and other key stakeholders. This Committee is also the place to discuss assisting the Ivorian government in its quest for more transformation, optimizing crop yield, and creating a sustainable agro-environment for development opportunities.
