AMCHAM DIGITAL COMMITTEE ORGANIZE - DIGITAL DAY (EMPOWERING RURAL AREAS)
The Digital Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce in Côte d’Ivoire recently organized the 1st edition of the Digital Day in Bouaflé on May 12, 2023. This event, attended by the Minister of Good Governance, Epiphane Zoro, brought together digital experts and students from two high schools in Bouaflé. The panelists, consisting of renowned individuals from the digital industry, shared their experiences and insights, leaving a lasting impact on the attending students. The success of this event would not have been possible without the vision and dedication of Houssène Ben Souda, the Chairman of the digital committee of AmCham.
The primary aim of the Digital Day was to bridge the digital gap in rural areas and inspire the younger generation of Côte d’Ivoire to pursue careers in the digital field. Students from two high schools in Bouaflé were given the invaluable opportunity to interact with experts who have made significant contributions to the digital landscape.

Ismahill Diaby – Director General, VISA: Ismahill Diaby, the Director General of VISA, brought his expertise and knowledge to the panel. Jil Alexandre Ndia – Co-Founder, Abidjan.net: Jil Alexandre Ndia, one of the co-founders of Abidjan.net, a prominent digital platform, shared his entrepreneurial journey and highlighted the various opportunities that the digital sphere offers.
