AMCHAM-CI MEETS WITH DELTA AIRLINE FOR A WORKING SESSION
On October 31, 2022, the American Chamber of Commerce in Cote d’Ivoire met with Delta Airline’s Commercial team at the U.S. Embassy in Cote d’Ivoire. The purpose of this working session is to establish a Delta Airline location plan based on the frequency of flights between Cote d’Ivoire and the United States of America.
The Chamber was consulted to make a survey after members to know the number of trips made by them to the United States.
Then AmCham and Delta will have to work closely together to facilitate the implementation of Delta Airline in Côte d’Ivoire. After this step, Delta will be a member of AmCham-CI and undertakes to give discounted rates for AmCham CI member companies.
Finally, it should be noted that this approach comes at a time when American investments in the direction of Cote d’Ivoire are exploding. It seems that the United States has decided to take Côte d’Ivoire as a serious economic partner. We must therefore take advantage of this dynamic to position Côte d’Ivoire as a privileged partner of the United States in West Africa.
We therefore ask our decision-makers to lead this project in order to significantly increase economic, cultural and social relations between the two nations.
