THE AMERICAN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND THE HONORARY CONSULATE OF THE CZECH REPUBLIC IN COTE D'IVOIRE CELEBRATE A CELLO CONCERT
The American Chamber of Commerce in Côte d’Ivoire (AmCham) organized on Monday, October 24, 2022, a cello concert in collaboration with the Honorary Consulate of the Czech Republic with as guest of honor Mr. Frantisek Brickcius, one of the maestros of cello in Europe.
At 7:30 p.m. the artist with his magic fingers pinched the seven glorious strings of his cello to emit waves covering the entire Mövenpick Hotel connecting all the buildings of the Plateau to attract the curiosity of all.
For more than an hour, Mr. Brickcius has once again enlivened the public after that of Monrovia in Liberia; this evening with his bow he did it in front of a passionate Ivorian public, with a quality music making us travel without passport in the greatest classics interpreting pieces of famous authors of the classical music.
After playing the national anthem of the Czech Republic his country, the artist from Prague has interpreted with mastery “l’Abidjanaise” the national anthem of Côte d’Ivoire as the last piece that gave goose bumps to the public who came on this occasion in addition to the staff and visitors to the place who gave the artist a standing ovation.
The American Chamber of Commerce expresses its gratitude to the Consul of the Czech Republic in Cote d’Ivoire Mr. Mory Diané, as well as to his representative Mr. Ixchel Lamine and especially to Mr. Frantisek Brikcius for this magnificent concert.
