The high-level American delegation present at the Africa Ceo Forum in Abidjan was briefed, this Monday, June 13, 2022, on the business environment in Côte d’Ivoire. These businessmen led by the Deputy Secretary of Commerce, Don Grave, had productive exchanges with experts around a lunch organized by the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham). During this lunch, which also brought together several leaders members of AmCham, communications were made, first on the potential of Côte d’Ivoire and also on the tax rules and investment applied in the country.
The various communications, including those of the Experts of the Cabinet Deloitte, specialized in the assistance of large international groups investing in the country, made it possible to make a turn of horizon of the many advantages which the country presents. Among others, the currency, the demography, the components of the Ivorian economy, the regional position, the principles of accounting, and especially the fiscal environment and the different rates applied, or the customs and excise duties.
